SIgma Designs Inc. (Nasdaq: SIGM) will be acquired by Silicon Labs Inc. (Nasdaq: SLAB) for a premium of approximately $282 million in cash. Shares of Sigma Designs soared $1.30 to close at $6.90 while Silicon Labs stock lost 85 cents to close at $89.35.
